The Journey........

Life is a journey with all its ups and downs for us all.  This card I made this week was for a special friend who has helped me lots recently.  She seems to know what to say and when to say it, I just hope I can be half as good as her when someone needs me......or else I can point them in the right direction!!

Don't Go!! Missing Ye Already...............

We are very sad that our lovely friends are leaving to set up home way away across the water..........how could they do this to us!! Well we had some tricks up our sleeves - didn't we girls.  We thought if we threw them this fabulous party they would just see how much we all love them and they just wouldn't have the heart to leave us all behind. Did it work..................

Love is in the air................

Well it was a very "Happy Anniversary" recently to a wonderful couple.  So I decided to get one of their wedding pics and make a card with memories to surprise them in the post!! I was told they were thrilled with it, so job done!  Here's some pics of the card hope you like it too. :)

Good morning all, the sun is shining here cheering us up a bit, but the weather forecast is keeping it real for us!! More storms on the way, so enjoy the sun while you can, I suppose that depends on where you are!! Whats it like where you are?

Here's a project I did a while ago for a good friend of mine.  Can you guess her favourite animal I wonder?? I thought of it as it had yellow like Sunshine and the happy dance I was doing this morning when I saw the sun. Its a Journal I made her as a little gift when she came to visit. I wonder how she is getting on with it, maybe she'll let us know!! Here it is gift wrapped.....

Ski in..........Ski out!!

Well the brownies are well and truly gone and I've been to Italy and back since I blogged last!! Hope your all coping with the lovely weather we've been having here - we have floods all around!!

We had a lovely meal out for our Anniversary to McCleary's Restaurant in Waterford, they really look after you there - food was delicious!! My husband made me a card and you know what I LOVE IT!! He's so funny! Tell me what ye think yerselves.

Aw he really does love me after all these years!! I gave him his card when we went out for our meal and he stood it up on a ledge by our table, ha ha.......reminded me of Mr. Bean on his birthday!!

Wot am I like...........

Well a young friend (12yrs old) of mine gave me a "Happy Anniversary" beautiful handmade card on Wednesday and said sorry its late!

I was confused and said your actually early........so she was surprised too but never said why she thought it was late.  Anyway the story goes on.......I was here yesterday......as you all know and a knock comes to the door....off I did trot to find a good friend a little bit older than the first with another gorgeous handmade card from her daughter and some delish homemade brownies (shes actually famous for her brownies), also apologising for a belated gift!!

I thought this is starting to become a habit and the brownies are FAMOUS remember - should I tell her its not my Anniversary?? Well I thought honesty is the best policy and of course I was delighted when she said I could still have the brownies anyway.......woo hoo.....BONUS!!

What actually happened.........

I can't believe I did this, I had to go and check my messages to see what I had really texted......but my older brownie famous friend had texted a couple of weeks ago and said she had changed her phone and lost dates etc and asked when my Anniversary was..........I texted back  (and I DID cos remember I checked - shame)  Dec 31st..........NOT my Anniversary!!

So now I'll be waiting on the actual anniversary date for a knock at the door...........
